The Alternative Education program provides an education based on a student-teacher-parent partnership that allows students to be self-directed learners, and effective communicators.  Students will be able to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary for responsible citizenship, future learning, and productive and satisfying employment.

School Facilities & Safety

The facilities at Newman Crows-Landing Alternative Education are well maintained.  Safety of students and staff is a primary concern of Newman Crows-Landing alternative Education School.  The school is in compliance with all laws, rules and regulations pertaining to school safety.

Counseling & Other Support Services

The alternative education program has and academic counselor as will as counseling services provided by Center For Human Services, Healthy Start.  Students in need of additional help are referred to the student study team.  All district resources are available to students in the program.

Teacher Assignment

The majority of the staff consists of teachers retired from the district.  The top two qualities the Newman Crows-Landing Alternative Education looks for in their teaching staff is empathy and over all knowledge.
